Who will be on the Next Commission?
Jon Worth one of the Th!nk editors and a few others, Julien, Andreas and Joe have an excellent idea. Their are looking for ideas and possibilities for the next commission. So will represent your country?
I think Pat Cox will be the Irish Commissioner. Am I right? or is it there a better candidate?
Not sure he’s the best candidate but he does seem the most likely to get the job. His canvassing for Eoin Ryan should have done much to endear him to the Taoiseach.
Or Cowen could use the appointment to dispatch Mary Coughlan to Brussels, but I don’t think he’s that reckless.
