Speakers from all the main political parties willparticipate in a protest march in Cork this Saturday,12 August. The march will start at Daunt Square at 2:00 PMand proceed along Patrick Street and Lavittt’s Quayto Emmet Place. The speakers will include TDs and city councillorsrepresenting the main political parties. The march is being organized by a group ofcivil society organizations, includingthe IPSC, Antiwar-Ireland and the IAWM.
Well after an eventful long weekend (me out every night wooooooo!) Cork Pride came to a close yesterday. The highlight for the week had to be the Parade on Sunday through Cork City. It was fantastic. The reaction was excellent as we urned the city into a riot of colour and sound with floats, buses, cars and a 250ft Pride flag!
